How often do you host events?
Sydney Singles organises events every Saturday night. We also hold special holiday events that don't necessarily take place on Saturday, for example, Christmas, New Years' Eve, Valentine's Day and Easter. How much does entry cost?
Admission will cost between $15 and $20, depending on the venue's facilities. We also occasionally offer promotional discounts through our mailing list, be sure to sign up.

Do I need to book or buy tickets in advance?
Not at all, just turn up at our event in your best dress (or suit) on the night.

Can I pay at the door with EFTPOS?
Unfortunately, we do not carry a portable EFTPOS terminal and we only accept cash payment at the door. Should you require EFTPOS facilities, all venues are equipped with ATMs which are available at all times of night.

What time do the events end?
Our events run long into the night, beginning from approximately 7:00pm (may be different for some venues) and concluding at 1:00am. This leaves you plenty of time to take it easy and enjoy your night.

Is there parking at the events?
A: All of our venues provide free on-site parking as well as ample street parking. You might want to arrive at a venue early if you want a good spot!

Is it alright to attend by myself?
Absolutely, in fact, many singles prefer to come to our events alone to expand their horizons. Generally, we recommend attending the event earlier in the night to secure a table. Having a seat will encourage others to join your table, giving you the best chance of getting to know new friends before heading out to the dance floor.

Is there any seating at the events?
We've made seating available at tables around the dance floor at all of our venues. Our tables seat between four and eight people and fill up quickly at every event! If you want to get a table, we highly recommend arriving early.

Can I wear jeans?
No, jeans or jean design pants are considered to be too casual for our events. Our dress code is strictly smart or formal for men and elegant for women. We reserve the right to refuse entry to those who do not meet our dress standard. Our adherence to this dress code ensures the highest standards for your evening. We appreciate your co-operation!

Is alcohol avaliable?
Yes, all venues offer fully-licensed bar service. Sydney Singles encourages responsible drinking.

Can I smoke at the events?
Federal legislation prohibits our venues from allowing people to smoke indoors. However, some venues feature an outdoor balcony where smoking is permitted. These outdoor areas are part of the event, so you can smoke without needing to leave.

Do you provide food at events?
We offer complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits at all venues. At select venues, we additionally provide a complimentary buffet-style supper. Please see our Events page for specific details on what's on offer at specific events. Our venues also provide modern dining facilities, should you want to have a meal before or during the night.

What if I need to duck out quickly - can I get back in?
Yes! All customers are stamped on entry to ensure freedom of movement in and around venue facilities.

What kind of music do you play?
Our experienced DJ's will play a variety of classics and current hits, including music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and noughties with an accompanying light show. We play all kinds of songs from fast-paced dance tracks to slow, romantic ballads. If there's a particular song you'd like played, our DJs are more than happy to fulfil your request.
